On August 22, 2018, The Goldie Initiative kicked off the 2018-19 school year with a networking event focused on mentoring. The 2018-19 Goldie Scholars, which includes a record-breaking 20 emerging female leaders, enjoyed food and drinks while mingling with board members of The Goldie Initiative as well as current and future mentors.

The event was sponsored by Deloitte and took place at its new “Bistro 111” space.  With a focus on “Finding the Right Match,” the evening will begin with an optional 30-minute orientation to The Goldie Initiative’s Mentor Program.  Participants included individuals interested in serving as a Primary Mentor for The Goldie Initiative in 2018-19, and/or our new virtual mentor-matching tool, Mentorship Rocket. Anyone interested in mentoring with The Goldie Initiative in 2018-19 can contact us.

The remainder of the evening was all about networking and served as an opportunity for our incoming class of Goldie Scholars to get to know our stakeholders and the type of individual they would like to be matched with as a Mentor for 2018-19. Thanks to all who attended!
