Goldie Initiative Raises Record-Breaking $425K

The Goldie Initiative raised a record-breaking $425,000 at its annual Goldie Gala held in Chicago recently. The gala followed the organization’s announcement of its largest-ever cohort of scholarship winners, who were chosen among women pursuing graduate-level studies in business, law or management with a focus on real estate. Launched in 2007, the Goldie Initiative is named for Goldie Wolfe Miller, a renowned CRE broker, and entrepreneur.

Over 600 industry professionals came together for the special night at Wintrust’s Grand Banking Hall to celebrate the first-ever Goldie Initiative Shero Award. Sheli Rosenberg, former president and CEO of Equity Group Investments, was the honoree.

The 2018-19 scholarship cohort adds four new programs for a total of nine participating universities: University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, University of Illinois’ Gies College of Business, Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law, and Illinois Institute of Technology’s Chicago-Kent College of Law.
