On March 15, 2018, Founder and Chair of The Goldie Initiative, Goldie B. Wolfe Miller, delivered an inspirational acceptance speech upon receiving the inaugural "Legend" award before almost 2,000 attendees at the Commercial Real Estate Awards. Chicago’s top architects, brokers, developers, property managers, interior contractors and design professionals gathered to mark the 30th anniversary of the Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards Dinner, to both celebrate the outstanding achievements in all facets of the industry and to support the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Goldie Initiative Mentor Task Force Member, Angela Aeschliman, Named 2018 Sustainability Advisory Board Chair for IREM
"The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) advisory board—run by IREM member volunteers—has named Angela Aeschliman, senior vice president of property and asset management at Des Plaines, IL-based The Missner Group, as chair for 2018.
Aeschliman has 25 years in the commercial real estate industry spanning residential, retail, office, LEED adaptive reuse and industrial management. She is a Certified Property Manager, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a LEED Accredited Professional and a licensed real estate broker. She is active in numerous professional associations including IREM, CCIM, National Association of Realtors, Northern Illinois Association of Realtors (NICAR) and the U.S. Green Building Council. Aeschliman is the immediate past president of the IREM Chicago Chapter #23, as well as a past president of NICAR and she currently resides in Naperville, IL"
